Kostinkallio community Garden is a permanent cultivation place open to everyone and free for the residents of the area. 20 pallet collar cultivation boxes have been in use in the area.
The aim is to increase community spirit, give the opportunity to grow your own food together with others, and act as a comfortable and safe place to hang out.
Blokgarden is involved in the community garden during the 2024 season, coordinating the operations. We will renovate the old boxes and make 10 new cultivation boxes. During the season, we organize workshops and activities related to a green sustainable urban environment and urban agriculture.
The activities start with seedling workshops in the spring of 2024 and culminates in a joint harvest in September.
You can get 2 boxes per person. (MAX. 4 per household) Boxes are reserved in order of registration, so be quick.
